In the manufacturing process of jaw crusher accessories, heat treatment process is the key link to determine its wear resistance, impact resistance and service life. CJ Jaw Crusher Parts use special heat treatment technology to ensure that each tooth plate, side guard plate and other key components have extremely high hardness and toughness, so as to maintain long-term durability under harsh crushing conditions.

Precision heat treatment process to improve material performance

Our jaw crusher accessories (such as high manganese steel tooth plates, alloy steel side guard plates, etc.) undergo the following strict heat treatment process:

High temperature quenching: Heat the steel to the critical temperature (about 950-1100°C) to form a uniform austenite structure inside the material, improve hardness and wear resistance.

Oil quenching or water toughening: According to different material requirements, a rapid cooling process is used to ensure that the material obtains the best metallographic structure and avoid brittleness caused by coarse grains.

Tempering: After quenching, low-temperature tempering (200-400°C) is performed to eliminate internal stress, improve toughness, and prevent accessories from breaking under impact loads.

2. 1100°C sandbox slow cooling technology to prevent heat treatment cracking

During the heat treatment process, rapid cooling may lead to internal stress concentration and cause cracks, especially in materials such as high manganese steel. To solve this problem, CJ uses a sandbox slow cooling process:

After the accessories are quenched at 1100°C, they are immediately placed in a special sandbox and slowly cooled.

Keep the temperature for more than 12 hours to evenly drop the temperature and avoid stress cracking caused by sudden cooling.

This process can significantly improve the structural stability of the accessories, ensuring that they will not have microcracks or breakage problems during long-term high-load operation.
